The society of Singaporean and Singapore-educated medical and dental students studying in the UK
Who are we?
We are a student-led, non-profit organisation founded in 1994 that represents the interests of Singaporean and Singapore-educated students studying Medicine and Dentistry in the UK. We also provide resources for potential students.
With over 700 lifetime members and growing, we give members opportunities to network and foster intercollegiate and inter-city friendships, and to further their academic and career development, through a series of ongoing events.
SMSUK also reaches out to:
- Prospective students, to provide the necessary information to facilitate applications,
- International students looking to pursue a career in Singapore,
- Junior and senior practitioners in the UK.
SMSUK membership extends beyond graduation - the society takes active steps to involve alumni members, currently by inviting them to participate in interaction sessions with current students.
